So, I guess I am able to learn :) I tried again with crocheting. Someone had told me that she used Youtube for figuring out tricky stitches. Well, I thought maybe I could use it to learn how to do the basic ones... I watched this video: http://youtu.be/eqca00LdmAc

I was SO relieved when I saw that what I was doing actually looked like it was supposed to! So, I am working on practicing in this small piece below. I think I have done about five rows. It is interesting trying to figure it out. The piece I am working on is pretty hole-y right now. Not sure why, so I am trying to figure this out.
